Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Contribute to the development of next-generation products in collaboration with a small, cross-functional team that includes mechanical designers, electronics engineers, industrial designers, and subcontractors.
• Drive mechanical design tasks independently, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet functional, cosmetic, and manufacturability requirements.
• Design components and assemblies with a strong focus on injection-molded plastic and associated cosmetic standards.
• Create, update, and maintain 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure design intent, feasibility, and production readiness.
• Communicate effectively across disciplines to ensure smooth development cycles and resolve design challenges.

What you bring:

• Strong experience as a mechanical designer with expertise in injection-molded plastic parts, including designs with cosmetic requirements.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of design tasks, and drive work forward.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners
• Fluent in English and Swedish.
