teenage engineering is looking for a customer support agent to join our support team. in this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers — from curious first-time buyers to long-time fans. you’ll help answer questions, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and provide guidance on our products, orders, and policies. you’ll support both direct consumers and our global network of distributors and resellers, working closely with two experienced colleagues in the support team.

we're looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, communicates clearly, and brings a calm, friendly attitude to every interaction.

what you’ll do

• respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries
• provide accurate information about products, orders, and company policies
• process returns, exchanges, and warranty claims
• help customers with basic troubleshooting and initial triage of technical issues
• escalate more complex matters to tech support or other internal teams
• identify recurring issues and help us improve our support processes
• stay up to date on product updates, company policies, and industry trends

who you are

• previous experience in first-line customer support, preferably in a small–to–mid-sized e-commerce and wholesale environment
• comfortable using customer support tools (zendesk experience is a plus)
• a basic understanding of teenage engineering’s products and customer base
• strong written and verbal communication skills
• able to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks at once
• fluent in spoken and written english
