Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Design, build and maintain AWS infrastructure including ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, VPC and CloudWatch
• Develop, optimize and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, including runner configuration and automation
• Deliver Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK and CloudFormation
• Ensure platform stability, compliance, security and high availability for the SWS platform
• Drive automation, standardisation and efficiency improvements across the DevOps toolchain
• Support development teams with deployment workflows, integrations, observability and environment management
• Contribute to platform architecture, cost optimisation and long-term scalability planning

What you bring:

• 5–10+ years of senior-level AWS experience in production environments
• Deep expertise in ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM and VPC networking
• Strong experience with CloudFormation and/or AWS CDK; Terraform expertise is a strong advantage
• Advanced skills in GitLab CI/CD design, Docker and container orchestration
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python or Bash)
• Good understanding of microservices architecture, API design and integration patterns
• Experience with Node.js, Python or • NET is meritorious
• Hands-on experience with observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog or Prometheus/OpenTelemetry, including incident handling and performance tuning

Meritorious:

• Deep AWS CDK expertise
• Experience in large enterprise DevOps environments
• Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge)
• Understanding of Angular/TypeScript CI/CD requirements
• Automotive, workshop or diagnostics domain experience
• Experience as a Scrum Master, technical lead or similar agile leadership role
