Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior AWS/DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Take technical ownership of a cloud-based workshop platform, combining platform engineering and DevOps responsibilities
• Design, build and maintain AWS infrastructure, including ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, VPC and CloudWatch
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to support efficient, secure and compliant delivery
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK or CloudFormation
• Drive automation, standardisation and platform improvements to ensure stability, reliability and scalability
• Support development teams with deployment flows, integrations, observability and troubleshooting
• Contribute to architectural decisions, cost optimization and long-term platform evolution
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, enabling high-quality delivery across multiple teams

What you bring:

• 5–10+ years of hands-on AWS production experience
• Deep knowledge of ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM and VPC networking
• Experience with CloudFormation and/or AWS CDK; strong merit for Terraform expertise
• Advanced skills in designing, maintaining and troubleshooting GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Solid experience with Docker and container orchestration
• Scripting and automation skills in Python or Bash
• Understanding of API design, integration patterns and microservices architecture
• Experience with Node.js, Python or • NET (meriting)
• Experience working with observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog or Prometheus/OpenTelemetry
• Experience with incident handling, performance tuning and operational troubleshooting
• Meriting experience in AWS CDK, large enterprise DevOps environments, serverless architectures (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge), and CI/CD for Angular/TypeScript
• Additional value from automotive or workshop/diagnostics domain knowledge
• Experience in agile leadership roles such as Scrum Master or technical lead
• Self-driven, structured and proactive approach with strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable supporting multiple development teams
