About the job

In this position, you develop and improve standardized ways of working from a controlling perspective, including the preparation of financial statements, analysis of price and quantity differences, and root cause analysis. To provide us with a better financial performance, you analyze price variances and suggest mitigating actions to minimize the same, and you also prepare, record and analyze the outcome of our procurement activities. Further, you keep a continuous dialogue with internal stakeholders to secure that our process is followed, and you also work in close collaboration with stakeholders within Sandvik Group to improve our collaboration.

Your responsibility include:

• Seek best practice within the organization and drive implementation within Seco.
• Secure compliance in our M3 processes and support changes and improvements in ERP setup.
• Support the organization to meet the internal control requirements within the procurement and sustainability area and support in the roll out of global processes.
• Support of reducing risk regarding business interruptions and meet the efficiency targets – reducing cost, meeting sustainability demands and maintain quality.
• Support the sustainability reporting activities.

The location for this position is remote and flexible within Sweden, but we prefer to see you located close to our site in Fagersta. Planned travel will occur.

Your profile

We’re looking for someone with a solid financial background, particularly within controlling, as well as a robust understanding of procurement and finance processes, and production economy within a manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience in variance reporting is crucial, along with a sound familiarity with M3 or similar ERP systems. We believe that your knowledge is complemented by a university degree in a relevant field, or you have gained equivalent expertise through an extensive and impressive professional career. Given the global nature of our operations, excellent communication skills in English are indispensable. Your role demands not only technical proficiency but also the ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and accessible manner to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
