This position reports to Senior Finance Manager.

Your role and responsibilities

ABB Robotics & Discrete Automation Business area provides robotics, and machine and factory automation including products, software, solutions and services. Revenues are generated both from direct sales to end users as well as from indirect sales mainly through system integrators and machine builders. www.abb.com/robotics

Are you a proactive and independent controller looking to set your own agenda and drive continuous improvement? We have an excellent opportunity for you to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.

In this role, you will support our R&D function within Robotics. You will manage the financial closings on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. You will be responsible for preparing rolling forecasts at both the department and project levels, conducting financial analysis, and preparing budgets. Additionally, you will calculate hourly rates and provide proactive financial support to management. Your duties will also include overseeing investments and asset management, handling project controlling, and continuously improving financial methods, tools, and processes with a strong focus on controlling.

Qualifications for the role

• Master’s degree in economics or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a business controller or in a similar role.
• Strong focus on controlling and project controlling experience.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide strategic insights.
• Proven ability to support managers in decision-making and forecasting.
• Proficiency in Excel and an interest in data and SAP for process improvements.
• Fluency in English and Swedish is essential.
