The position is a temporary employment of maximum 3 years. The ASSURE project is announcing a Postdoctoral position in dependable human-centric cyber-physical systems. In ASSURE we will develop methods to analyze the safety and security of computer-based systems with a human centric approach including societal sustainability requirements. The Postdoctoral researcher will work with human centric- ontological analysis, requirements definition, verification techniques and tools to verify validity of the requirements for a given system. This includes considering human behavior and their integration in the analysis methods. The position includes both the above-mentioned research and collaborative interdisciplinary research within Mälardalen University, e.g., collaboration with other researchers and writing project applications when needed Qualifications requirements The applicant is required to have a PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.  The applicant must have completed the degree no more than three years before the end of the application period. You have not previously held a position as a postdoctoral researcher in the same or related subject area at MDU that exceeds one year. Prior knowledge about cyber-physical systems and safety critical systems is mandatory. The position requires a strong motivation for research, good verbal and written communication skills in English.      Assesment criteria Additional knowledge in cyber-security, common analysis methods for safe and secure systems, e.g., hazard analysis, ontological hazard analysis, requirements analysis and definition, modeling and formal verification is a merit.  In an overall assessment of suitability, emphasis is also placed on personal abilities.
