What you'll do  Volvo Cars is a global leader in automotive safety and innovation. We are committed to creating safer, more sustainable, mobility solutions. As we continue to push the boundaries of active safety and driver support, we’re looking for a passionate Strategic Product Owner for AD/ADAS to join our team. You will be part of the Product Definition team, working along other experts and strategist to define future cars and product roadmaps. Responsibilities •    Define how Volvo Cars will deliver on its safety heritage, and how such investments can be translated into customer value – and into revenue for Volvo. •    Craft an overarching product vision and strategy to guide development efforts. •    Create long-term product roadmaps aligned with business goals. •    Evaluate competitors to identify gaps, threats, and areas of differentiation. •    Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other teams. •    Ensure alignment between the strategic vision and day-to-day execution. What you'll bring  •    Domain knowledge: Deep understanding of automotive safety systems, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and autonomous driving technologies. Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. •    Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and communicate a clear product vision. Experience creating long-term roadmaps and aligning them with business objectives. •    Leadership and collaboration skills: Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, and marketing teams – an established network throughout VCC is very valuable. Proven ability to lead and influence teams. •    Analytic ability: data-driven decision-making, using metrics and KPIs to evaluate product performance. Ability to extrapolate insight and form recommendations based on incomplete data. •    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. •    Academic degree in Engineering or Finance. •    Fluent in English, both verbal and written skills.  Want to know more?
