This is daily life at Technical Service, and we are currently looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in Quality & Customer Satisfaction in Gothenburg, Sweden
Your future team
Technical Service (TS) have the responsibility to deliver and coordinate technical support for Volvo HD trucks; diesel, LNG and BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) and Volvo MD BEV Driveline towards market companies and importers and are the link between the market and design departments at Volvo Group Trucks Technology. We contribute to the Product Development process with our field and aftermarket expertise.
How you will make an impact
Within Technical Service we annually resolve more than 25 000 support cases, each representing a customer concern. As Data Analyst at TS you hold an important role being the Product Owner for TS data management platform and responsible for securing and preparing vehicle generated data, supporting our Product Specialists to analyze issues in customer trucks.
You will also work proactive; develop tools to analyze and find patterns and anomalies to understand why and prevent failure or break downs from happening. You will contribute to conceptualizing data analysis innovation projects and yearly DA development plan etc. You will work in close corporation both with our Product Specialists, as well as market companies/importers and internal Volvo Group customers. You will be a natural connection and an engaged contributor in our global analytics forums. You take own initiative, use your creativity to excel on the tasks and create the unexpected next analytics support we did not know we can´t live without.

• Minimum B.Sc. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or equal
• Documented programming skills in HTML, SQL, Python, Java, .net, C++, C#, Knime etc
• Documented experience with machine learning and visualizations
• Data visualization using Power BI
• Good understanding of data modeling and relatable database concepts
• Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques
• Experience in Spark SQL, T-SQL and Databricks
• Matrix generation (Weibull)
• Business savvy, understand information from business perspective and use that to more effectively develop enabling technologies
• Experience in RPA is an advantage
• English and Swedish, oral and written
