You will take a central role in making sure autonomous solutions are deployed and operated in line with safety standards, regulatory expectations, and internal governance. In this automotive environment, you will own the safety case and act as the safety authority for deployment decisions across both internally built and partner-delivered solutions.

You will work closely with product, technology, operations, partners, and regulatory stakeholders to support safe deployment, stable operations, and continuous improvement. • You define and maintain safety processes and governance for autonomous solutions, including partner-delivered deliveries.
• You own the safety case and make the safety go or no-go decision before deployment.
• You escalate safety no-go decisions when required.
• You ensure compliance with applicable regulations, safety standards, and internal governance requirements.
• You support risk assessments and operational safety reviews.
• You collaborate with technical teams, operations, and external partners on safety-related topics.
• You support incident investigations and help drive corrective actions.
• You act as the main interface toward internal and external regulatory bodies.
• You drive continuous improvement of safety processes and help strengthen the safety culture.
• You coordinate safety responsibilities across internal and external stakeholders.

• Master's degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience within functional safety, operational safety, or regulatory compliance.
• Experience with safety case methodology and safety case management.
• Experience working with standards and frameworks such as ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 (SOTIF).
• Experience with incident reporting processes.
• Strong analytical and risk management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and make objective safety-related decisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and coordinate stakeholders across multiple functions and organizations.
• Structured and governance-oriented way of working.
• English language skills.
• You are comfortable completing a background check.

• Experience with autonomous systems.
• Experience within automotive safety or industrial safety frameworks.
• Experience from operational deployment or field validation environments.
• Understanding of autonomous vehicle operational risk management.
• Swedish language skills.
