We are looking for a Customer Support Engineer to join our global Operate Customer Support Team.
Your Mission
As a Customer Support Engineer, you provide high quality 2nd Level Support for selected customer installations. You monitor systems proactively, troubleshoot technical issues, handle support tickets, and maintain close communication with Epiroc Customer Centres and customers.
You will be an important part in keeping Epiroc customers happy by participating in support meetings and guide customers to use Epiroc digital products towards a safer and more efficient operation.
You assist delivery projects through installations, training, initial deployments, and occasional customer visits. You also improve internal troubleshooting documentation and support 1st Level when needed.
This role includes participation in the 24/7 on call rotation every 8th week to ensure continuous service availability.
Additionally, you may contribute to secondary areas such as maintaining support documentation, assisting with mobile app releases, supporting advanced integrations and product optimisations, handling hardware warranty tasks, performing installation tests, maintaining demo environments, and preparing maintenance release notes.
Your Profile
You are a technically strong and customer-oriented professional with experience in Linux server administration (Ubuntu/RedHat), databases (MariaDB/MongoDB), networking (DNS, certificates, firewalls), and troubleshooting complex systems.
You are comfortable using support tools like Jira, Nagios, and related platforms, and you understand the basics of cluster and cloud technologies.
You communicate clearly in English and enjoy working directly with customers and cross functional teams.
You work methodically, solve problems efficiently, and escalate when needed. You manage your time well and handle multiple tasks with structure and prioritization.

This position is located in Luleå, Sweden.
