Arbetsbeskrivning

Are you driven by the challenge of turning strategy into real change? At Sandvik Coromant, change is a key enabler of innovation – and this role plays a central part in making it stick!

Why Sandvik Coromant?

We offer you the opportunity to influence how change happens in a global, technology-driven organization where innovation is part of DNA. Joining us, you get to:

  • Work close to senior leaders and help shape strategic initiatives within R&D.
  • Make a visible impact by driving adoption, not just delivery.
  • Grow in a global environment that values trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

About the job

In this role, strategic change initiatives within R&D are driven from idea to lasting adoption. Your focus is on ensuring that transformation delivers real business value – not only on paper, but in how people work every day. Acting as a trusted advisor, senior leaders are supported in their role as change sponsors, while R&D’s overall change capabilities continue to evolve.

You own and develop selected change management practices, governance models, and cross-functional processes, ensuring consistency, measurement, and continuous improvement. External trends and best practices in change leadership are monitored and translated into relevant insights for our organization. You act in a matrix organization with broad stakeholder interaction.

Included in your responsibilities:

  • Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives using agile and iterative principles, with clear outcomes and measurable results.
  • Engage stakeholders across R&D and related functions to secure alignment and buy-in.
  • Assess organizational readiness, identifying adoption risks and defining actions to address behavioral and cultural barriers.

Location and flexibility

The position is based in Sandviken or Stockholm, with flexibility to work in a hybrid setup.

Your profile

You have a strong foundation in change management and organizational transformation in technology-intensive environments such as R&D, engineering, or product development. Experience translating strategy into sustainable ways of working is essential, as is the ability to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority. You communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, and are comfortable navigating ambiguity while keeping momentum. To be successful and enjoy this role, you need:

  • Solid knowledge of change management methodologies, governance, and adoption measurement.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complexity into clear direction.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in matrix organizations.

Your soft skills matter just as much as experience. You build trust through integrity and credibility, challenges leaders constructively, and remain resilient when change becomes complex. A collaborative mindset, curiosity and the ability to mobilize others goes a long way.

Some words about us

To us, innovation isn’t just a concept – it’s how we move manufacturing forward together with customers, partners, and colleagues across the globe. Within R&D, collaboration is close, expectations are high, and ideas are encouraged to travel across boundaries.

Our culture

We believe in an inclusive, equal and open-minded culture, and we nurture our diversities to form a solid foundation for achieving great results. Add fair and rewarding benefits, as well as many different career opportunities in an inspiring global environment.
