Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Support a large-scale transformation programme by driving QA strategy, test execution, and structured quality practices across multiple teams.
- Lead and perform test automation, performance testing, and migration testing to ensure the reliability and stability of a new platform implementation.
- Work hands-on with integration testing for complex system landscapes, ensuring seamless collaboration across dependent domains.
- Build and enhance automation capabilities, frameworks, and tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Mentor and guide other testers to strengthen QA maturity and best practices within the organisation.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, tech leads, developers, and other stakeholders to secure end-to-end quality.
- Analyse requirements, identify risks, and propose quality-focused improvements to processes and solutions.
- Operate independently in a dynamic environment, driving tasks proactively even when initial conditions or requirements are unclear.
What you bring:
- Several years of experience as a QA Engineer, with strong competence in automation, integration testing, and performance testing.
- Proven experience working in large organisations or complex initiatives with multi-system integrations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and deliver in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging with stakeholders across many teams and domains.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative, define tasks, and drive them to completion.
- Solid technical background, gained through formal education or hands-on work as a developer or technical tester.
- Experience with mainframe systems such as AS/400 (a plus).
- Knowledge of the custody domain or related financial services areas (an advantage)
