At Perstorp, our OPEX (Operational Excellence) and GTI (Global Technology & Investment) Engineers utilize several Engineering tools and Applications, crucial for the success of developing, building, running and supporting our Perstorp plants. Each tool and application have a business owner who ensures that the application is managed in the best way possible including needed development and replacements. Supporting the business owner is the business responsible person, in charge of the daily maintenance of the applications, interacting with the IT organization to assure a safe and efficient daily operation of the application. In case any of the applications require more extensive updates or upgrades, business responsible takes a leading role in planning, prioritization and implementation.
About the position
We are now looking for a replacement for our retiring System Support Engineer who is business responsible for our OPEX and GTI applications. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our mechanical, E&I, process, and MOM engineers have continuous access to their business-critical applications. You will manage a wide range of tasks, including troubleshooting, license management, system security, and ensuring all applications are updated and aligned with business requirements.
