We are looking for a Test Engineer for a Global Automotive Company based in Gothenburg.

The team:

Is developing a centralized diagnostic platform for the next-generation vehicles. This platform enables to collect diagnostics from every corner of the vehicle, store it alongside relevant data (e.g., snapshots), and transmit it to the cloud for advanced analysis.

As a Test Engineer you will be responsible for designing, implementing and executing test cases to validate the functionality and performance of software components. You will collaborate with software developers, system architects, and other testers to ensure the reliability and robustness of the system.

Expertise in:

• Experience with test case design, test script development, and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with system-level integration and end-to-end validation
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Python, Robot Framework, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing.

Valid European driver’s license B is must because you will be testing and driving vehicles.

Degree in computer science or electrical engineering preferred.

Big advantage if you know:

• C++ experience, big plus
• Knowledge of automotive operating systems (e.g., AUTOSAR, QNX, Linux).
• Familiarity with diagnostic protocols (e.g., UDS, OBD-II) and data logging tools.
• Hands-on experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing environments.

This is a full-time consultancy position through Incluso in Gothenburg. Start is in November, one year limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.
