Propulsion & Climate Labs is Volvo Cars’ center for complete vehicle propulsion testing. We develop and operate advanced test facilities for propulsion, aerodynamics, and climate performance, covering everything from test preparation to execution. The Emissions and Energy Lab tests emissions, fuel consumption, and electric vehicle range. Our work includes development, verification, certification, CoP, and correlation testing according to global standards. We are now looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our team at the Vehicle Propulsion & Climate Test Centre in Gothenburg.

• Supporting emissions testing and daily lab operations• Contributing to planning and prioritization of test activities• Assisting in analysing test data, measurement quality and efficiency• Taking part in improvement initiatives that enhance our lab operations• Collaborating with engineers, test operators and stakeholders• Supporting documentation and preparation for auditsYou will gain valuable insights into how testing is planned, executed and continuously improved – and how your contribution helps us move forward.

• Studies within engineering or a related technical field
• Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working
• A genuine interest in testing, measurement systems and technical equipment
• An interest in automotive technology and vehicle systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders. You are self-driven, take ownership of your work, and have the ability to independently identify, obtain, and apply relevant information to solve tasks and achieve established goals.
• Fluency in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
• A valid Swedish B driver’s license

Experience from test environments or labs is a plus, but most importantly, you bring a willingness to learn and a passion for technology.
