Arbetsbeskrivning

Do you thrive on shaping how a global organization uses digital tools to create real business value? In this role, you take a central position where the direction, adoption, and impact of the digital workplace come together.

Why Sandvik?

You join a collaborative environment where digital innovation directly supports Mining operations and long-term growth. We offer you the chance to:

  • Own how Mining's digital workplace capability creates business value across a global organization.
  • Shape direction across M365 products, AI-enabled capabilities and Mining-unique device services in a real-world industrial context.
  • Representing Mining in Group IT governance and influence strategy from a business perspective.

About your job

In this position, you are the single point of accountability for Mining's digital workplace capability. You own the service layer — defining what Mining does with digital workplace, why, and what value it creates. You represent Mining in Group IT governance forums and shape demand toward Group IT's standard delivery.

Job responsibilities

  • Represent Mining in Group IT's digital workplace governance and drive internal alignment across Mining stakeholders on priorities and direction.
  • Guide how Mining leverages M365 products and AI-enabled M365 capabilities, including Copilot, and shape adoption priorities, target groups and success criteria.
  • Translate operational needs into digital workplace use cases and ensure value is realized.
  • Own Mining-unique device service scope, including lifecycle governance, vendor relationships and Country IT alignment where Group IT's standard delivery does not cover the full scope.
  • Anchor new services and significant changes with IT Business Partners and coordinate Mining's use of enterprise support agreements across infrastructure service areas.

Location and flexibility

This position is based in Sandviken or Stockholm, and we offer a hybrid work solution.

About you

You bring a strong background in digital workplace, IT service management, or a similar capability-focused role, combined with experience bridging business needs and IT delivery. With a strategic mindset, you understand how digital tools create value and how to drive adoption on a scale.

Your background includes:

  • Experience working with digital workplace services, including Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Understanding of IT governance, collaboration models, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience translating business needs into structured IT demand and solutions.
  • Familiarity with adoption strategies, change direction, or capability development.
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders, including global IT functions.
  • Excellent skills in English; knowledge of Swedish is a plus.

Success in this role comes from clarity, ownership, and a value-driven mindset. You’re structured and decisive, able to bring alignment in complex environments. Collaboration comes naturally, and you stay focused on outcomes rather than activity – ensuring the digital workplace truly supports how people work.
