TRATON Finans AB is a financial services company within the business area TRATON Financial Services. We offer financing and insurance of Scania & MAN products through our seven branches in the Nordic and Baltic countries. With a customer finance portfolio that exceeds 26 billion SEK, TRATON Finans AB is one the largest financial services company within TRATON Financial Services. The company has around 120 employees, of which half are located at the headquarters in Södertälje.

Role Summary

In this position, you will work across all seven markets within TRATON Finans and handle tasks such as payments, foreign exchange transactions, liquidity reporting, bank reconciliations, day-to-day accounting, and accounts payable. You will work closely with the Financial Controllers, each of whom is responsible for one or two markets.

The Junior Financial Controller reports to the Head of Accounting & Reporting.

Job Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include:

• Accounts payable
• Payments
• Liquidity reporting
• Bank reconciliations
• Day-to-day accounting
• Participation in month-end closing activities, group reporting, and audits

Who You Are

We are looking for a person with a degree in finance, economics, or business administration and 0-2 years of relevant work experience. Recent graduates with a strong academic background are also encouraged to apply.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• Good data maturity and an interest in systems and digitization
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Professional fluency in English
• Strong Excel skills
• Professional fluency in Swedish is considered a merit
• Experience working with ERP systems is considered a merit
• Experience in banking, finance, or insurance is considered a merit

This Is Us

We are now looking for a Junior Financial Controller who can contribute to the development and strengthening of our team. As the only Junior Financial Controller in the Accounting & Reporting department, you will work closely with experienced colleagues and gain broad exposure across all seven markets. Our finance function consists of an Accounting & Reporting department with seven Financial Controllers, as well as a team of seven Business Controllers.
