• Research, develop and implement valuable AI applications across the bank.

• Leverage cutting-edge AI technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs), vector databases, and document intelligence techniques.

• Integrate innovative tools alongside robust evaluation methodologies to develop transparent, high-quality solutions that effectively tackle complex business challenges.

• Enhance AI awareness within the bank by actively participating in knowledge sessions, enriching our internal knowledge base, and developing guides on fundamental generative AI principles and their practical applications.

• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that our solutions are adopted and generate actual business value.

• We expect the applicant to be a practicing data scientist today.

• Programming skills primarily in Python, especially geared towards generative AI development. Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure Foundry/OpenAI is advantageous.

• Experience in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques is expected; hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks is a strong plus.

• Ability to design and optimize prompts to ensure accurate and contextually relevant outputs is needed; ability to implement generative AI evaluation methodologies, focusing on improving model outputs through rigorous testing protocols is meriting.

• Knowledge of classical data processing concepts such as OCR and RegEx can be useful.

• Experience with AI-powered coding assistants is a plus.

• Curiosity and eagerness to learn how generative AI development on cloud platforms takes place is expected. Microsoft Azure experience, and familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD concepts, is a plus.

• Understanding of cloud security concepts, identity management, or networking fundamentals is beneficial to be aware of what the end-to-end delivery team’s other roles do to scale the applications in a safe and secure way.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-changing AI and cloud landscape.

• Good communication and collaboration skills, with enthusiasm to work in a team environment.

• A growth mindset — motivated to explore frontier AI developments, stay updated on AI trends, and apply learnings to real-world challenges.

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or similar fields or comparable demonstrated hands/on experience.
