All about the role:
The Head of Indirect Materials (IM) Procurement is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the global procurement strategy for Electrolux Group’s largest indirect spend areas.
Based in Stockholm, the role partners closely with global stakeholders and plays a key role in driving business performance, transformation, and sustainability.
Reporting to the Head of Global Procurement, you are a core member of the Procurement Leadership Team and have global end-to-end accountability for approximately SEK 10 billion in annual indirect spend across:
- Marketing, Sales & Travel
- IT & Telecom
- Corporate Services
These categories span all regions and are critical to growth, digitalization, brand strength, and operational excellence

- Finance, HR, Legal and Sustainability functions
- Regional Business and Procurement leaders
- Global Procurement Leadership Team
What you’ll do:
Strategic leadership
- Define and deploy a global indirect procurement strategy aligned with Group business priorities, sustainability ambitions, and financial targets.
- Establish clear governance, category strategies, sourcing standards, and decision frameworks across regions.
- Balance global scale and standardization with local business needs and market requirements.
Value creation & performance
- Drive sustainable cost efficiency, productivity, and value creation, moving beyond price toward total cost and demand optimization.
- Lead high-impact global negotiations and contract strategies across all key categories.
- Partner with Finance to support budget discipline, forecasting, and value tracking.
Business partnership
- Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to senior leaders across Marketing, Sales, IT, Digital, HR, Finance, and other corporate functions.
- Translate business strategies into effective sourcing and supplier strategies that enable speed, innovation, and quality.
- Proactively challenge demand and specifications to improve outcomes and resource efficiency.
Supplier, risk & ESG management
- Build and manage a strong ecosystem of strategic suppliers and partners.
- Drive supplier performance, innovation, resilience, and risk mitigation.
- Embed sustainability, responsible sourcing, and ESG principles into category strategies, with particular focus on services, IT, and travel-related emissions.
Transformation & capability building
- Contribute to the ongoing transformation and digitalization of Global Procurement, including tools, processes, and data.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members.
- Strengthen procurement capabilities in strategic sourcing, stakeholder management, and value delivery.
Who you are:
- Senior procurement leader with extensive experience managing large-scale global indirect spend in complex, multinational organizations, including categories such as Marketing, IT, and Corporate Services.
- Proven ability to drive transformation and deliver measurable business impact, aligning procurement strategies with commercial, financial, and sustainability objectives.
- Trusted executive partner with strong stakeholder influence and the credibility to engage and challenge senior leaders across corporate functions.
- Strategic and commercially astute leader with a strong execution mindset, comfortable operating in global, matrixed environments.
- Experienced people leader and change agent, known for a collaborative, inclusive, and values-driven leadership style.
- Strong commitment to sustainability, ethics, and long-term value creation embedded into business and sourcing decisions.
- Background in consumer goods, appliances, industrial, or similarly complex international environments is preferred.
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain, or equivalent; MBA or executive education is an advantage.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to operate effectively in a global leadership role.
