Do you have a passion for the outdoors and a sharp commercial instinct? As Director of Category Management for Active with Kids, you'll own the global strategy and profitable growth of Thule's Strollers, Child Car Seats, and Child Carrier Backpack categories, some of the most loved products we make. You'll blend consumer insight, commercial strategy, and cross-functional leadership to shape what parents and adventurers reach for worldwide.
What you´ll do at Thule
You'll own the full product portfolio, channel strategy, pricing, and promotional approach - with complete P&L accountability. That means leading annual budgeting and three-year planning, tracking sales trends, and reporting on execution against strategic goals. You'll study market and consumer behavior to continuously evolve the portfolio and stay ahead of where the industry is heading.
Working closely with Product Development, you'll align on resource planning and prioritization, while maintaining accurate demand forecasts to keep inventory optimized across global markets. You'll brief campaign and launch needs to the Brand and Marketing teams, partner with the Global Retail Concept Director on in-store activations and merchandising, and collaborate with Digital and Performance Marketing to drive traffic, conversion, and average order value.
Beyond the commercial work, you'll champion key products and initiatives across the organization, deliver impactful training through sales meetings, trade shows, and LMS content, and build a 3-5 year innovation pipeline of both incremental and breakthrough ideas. You'll play a key role in timely phase approvals within the Thule Project System, lead and develop your direct reports across multiple regions, and share learnings and process improvements across teams.
