Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for procurement? Roxtec is expanding, and we are looking for a talented Strategic Purchaser to join our team in Karlskrona. Your role As a Strategic Purchaser at Roxtec, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement of materials that are essential to our sealing solutions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies that prioritise service and quality above all, followed by cost efficiency. Building strong relationships with suppliers and optimising our supply chain will be key components of your role. How you contribute • Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with Roxtec’s business objectives. • Build and further develop strong relationships with strategic suppliers. • Negotiate supplier agreements and follow up on supplier performance related to quality, service and delivery. • Analyse market trends, identify risks, and drive cost improvements without compromising quality or delivery reliability. • Collaborate closely with supply chain, production, and other internal stakeholders to optimise inventory and material flows. • Ensure compliance with Roxtec’s policies, ethical guidelines, and legal requirements. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within purchasing processes and ways of working. Your qualifications • A degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field, or relevant experience in strategic purchasing or procurement. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement. • Fluent in Swedish and English. • Driver’s license (B). • Strong negotiation and contract management skills. • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
