About the Role
As a Computational Linguist, you will be part of an experienced and international team with colleagues in Sweden, the Netherlands, and Australia. The team in Uppsala consists of eleven people with diverse backgrounds, personalities, and language skills—but with one thing in common: we enjoy working closely together.
Your focus will be on working with our language engines, the basis of our text-to-speech voices. You will learn to maintain existing language engines as well as develop new ones.
You will also learn the various tasks of the voice development process. You will receive a thorough onboarding and hands-on training from day one, supported by the team.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow into the role, take on more responsibility over time, and contribute to the development of more languages and voices at ReadSpeaker.
