Based at Aurobay Technologies Division in Sweden and reporting to the Head of Quality Assurance, you’ll play a key role in strengthening global quality governance and collaboration with our division in China. Combining technical expertise, strategic insight, and cross-cultural teamwork, you’ll drive quality performance, ensure compliance with ISO and IATF standards, and embed a culture of continuous improvement that supports world-class product quality and customer satisfaction.
Skills and experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the automotive industry within product development, manufacturing engineering, or production, with strong understanding of products, technologies, and customer expectations.
Expert knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements, translating standards into effective quality governance and assurance practices.
Extensive experience with IATF core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) and related processes such as Control Plans, and Design and Product Validation.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence decisions, and drive quality and compliance improvements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk-based thinking skills, with confidence to act independently while maintaining alignment with company goals.
Excellent communication skills across regions within the Aurobay Technologies Division, fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or equivalent experience.
Your role
As Quality Assurance Specialist, China Collaboration, you’ll play a key role in strengthening our quality governance and collaboration between the Aurobay Technologies Division in Sweden and China.
Drive global quality performance by monitoring KPIs, aligning data, and ensuring timely cross-regional actions that support compliance and customer satisfaction.
Oversee the integration of customer-specific requirements into product development and manufacturing, ensuring excellence from concept to delivery.
Act as a trusted Subject Matter Expert for core quality procedures (including PPAP and product validations) and represent the company in audits and customer dialogues.
Establish and drive global quality strategies, policies, and requirements to align all functions with our organization’s quality objectives.
Coach and guide teams to embed quality mindset, ensuring consistent application of standards and continuous improvement across all functions.
Proactively identify and address quality or compliance risks that could impact certification or product performance.
Collaborate closely with R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Management, Sales, Purchasing, Plant Quality, and Quality Assurance teams to drive and ensure customer satisfaction, product quality and compliance, innovation, and operational excellence.
Build strong cross-regional partnerships between the Aurobay Technologies Divisions in Sweden and China, fostering alignment and shared commitment to world-class quality.
