Your mission

As a Global Strategic Purchaser within IT, you’re part of Global Procurement Team. You develop and execute sourcing activities aligned with category strategies and work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and IT-related functions such as License Management and IT security.

Job responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sourcing plans aligned with category strategies.
• Identify, prepare, lead, and manage sourcing projects and cases.
• Create, negotiate, sign, and implement contracts.
• Support onboarding of suppliers and ensure contract compliance.
• Maintain contracts and manage supplier performance and issues.
• Lead and participate in Supplier Relationship Management activities.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.

Location

The location for this position is preferably at our head office in Sandviken.

Your profile

You bring relevant theoretical knowledge and practical experience and enjoy working in a commercial, stakeholder‑rich environment. To be successful in this role, you need:

• A relevant degree och equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.
• Commercial negotiation experience of IT License Agreements and SaaS solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English, verbally and in writing.

You thrive in collaboration and are comfortable navigating a broad stakeholder landscape across divisions and suppliers. A driven and proactive approach comes naturally, and you’re confident making decisions. While you work within established processes, you bring your own judgment and personality, enjoying work with both autonomy and responsibility.

About your new team

You join a procurement team of around ten colleagues, including category leaders and strategic purchasers. The team sets IT sourcing strategies, runs negotiations, and supports crossdivisional initiatives. With a strong focus on IT, cost savings, and increasing ITsecurity requirements, the team plays a key role in enabling secure and efficient digital solutions across the organization.
