You will join a data foundation team in a connected services environment within the automotive sector, where application databases are a critical part of the platform. In this role, you will work close to specialists, architects and development teams to secure stable, scalable and well-designed database solutions across cloud-based services.

The assignment combines daily operations with improvement work. You will help shape how database services are managed, tuned and evolved in AWS, while also supporting new development and guiding teams toward the right technical choices. It is a great opportunity for you who enjoy both hands-on DBA work and influencing modern database services in a complex technical landscape.

• You will manage and support PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Oracle databases in AWS.
• You will work with daily operations, performance tuning, capacity planning and consolidation.
• You will contribute with SQL development in new development and enhancements together with product development teams.
• You will support application teams with runtime-related database activities.
• You will discuss database needs with different projects and guide them toward suitable solutions.
• You will collaborate with domain architecture to design new solutions and secure reliable deliveries.
• You will handle traditional DBA tasks while also improving database services, automation, quality, stability and security.
• You will be part of an environment where on-call support is included.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing PostgreSQL databases in production.
• Experience handling MongoDB in production environments.
• Experience working with databases in AWS and strong cloud engineering knowledge.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases and query authoring, and/or strong MongoDB knowledge.
• Experience implementing changes in larger database environments.
• Ability to work independently and drive activities forward.
• Experience with on-call support and willingness to work in that setup.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

• Development experience within the database area.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools beyond CloudWatch.
• Experience applying best practices in continuous integration and delivery.
