About the AssignmentYou will help a global organisation strengthen how Data & AI governance is defined, documented, and put into practice.
The assignment combines strategic framework work with hands-on implementation: reviewing existing governance material, identifying gaps against leading standards, refining the operating model for data management, and supporting the rollout of a Responsible AI program.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, lead structured working sessions, and turn complex governance and regulatory requirements into clear, usable documentation.

Job Description- You will review existing AI governance documents, assess their quality and alignment, and update them to be clear, consistent, and ready for implementation.
- You will lead workshops and working sessions with internal stakeholders to gather input, identify gaps, and align on required changes.
- You will benchmark current governance documentation against frameworks such as the EU AI Act, ISO 42001, and NIST AI RMF.
- You will perform gap analyses, identify missing governance components, and create new governance documents where needed.
- You will present findings and recommendations in a clear and actionable way to relevant stakeholders.
- You will co-design an improved data management operating model covering roles, responsibilities, decision rights, processes, and governance structures.
- You will document and refine the target operating model together with internal teams and support validation with senior stakeholders.
- You will assess the maturity and needs of the Responsible AI program and help operationalise governance processes such as AI risk assessments, AI reviews, lifecycle controls, and tooling input.
- You will run enablement workshops and provide advisory support to stakeholders and leadership on Responsible AI governance and decision-making.
Requirements- Strong experience in Data Governance, AI Governance, Responsible AI, or related regulatory or compliance roles.
- Deep knowledge of AI governance frameworks such as the EU AI Act, ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, or equivalent frameworks.
- Good understanding of ML lifecycles, data pipelines, model evaluation, explainability, bias detection, model monitoring, AI security, robustness, and data quality controls.
- Proven ability to draft and refine policies, guidelines, and governance documents.
- Experience facilitating workshops, interviews, and cross-functional working sessions.
- Ability to design operating models, governance structures, and organisational processes.
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs.
- Experience driving federated data governance in data mesh and domain-driven environments.
- Ability to work in a multicultural global environment.
