Do you want to play a key role in shaping Ascom’s global supplier network and securing best‑in‑class sourcing for a world‑leading technology company?

Ascom is now looking for a skilled Corporate Purchaser to join our Sourcing team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will work globally with negotiations, supplier selection, and strategic purchasing in a high‑tech environment that enables critical communication and workflow solutions.

About the role

As a Corporate Purchaser, you ensure that Ascom selects the best suppliers in terms of price, quality, lead time, flexibility, and overall value. You work closely with internal stakeholders and use your expertise in sourcing and negotiations to drive improvements and develop strong, long-term supplier relationships.

Your responsibilities include:

• Requesting and collecting quotes, evaluating offers, and negotiating prices and conditions for products, services, tools, and manufacturing equipment.

• Negotiating costs and conditions for third‑party products within the Product Creation Process (PCP).

• Evaluating, recommending, and selecting manufacturers/suppliers according to Ascom’s sourcing processes.

• Conducting annual negotiations of global contracts and BOM part prices.

• Negotiating product pricing with EMS suppliers.

• Identifying, evaluating, and recommending new suppliers and EMS partners.

• Collaborating with multiple functions and stakeholders across Ascom globally.

Who we are looking for

You are an experienced purchaser who thrives in a global environment with varied tasks and a fast pace. You are structured, analytical, and skilled at building strong supplier relationships and conducting professional negotiations.

We believe you bring:

Experience

• 6–10 years of experience in sourcing or procurement.

• Significant experience in contracting and contract negotiations, including legal aspects.

• Experience within the IT, telecommunications, or healthcare industry (1–2 years).

• A proven track record of building and developing strong supplier relationships.

• A degree in Purchasing & Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365.

• Experience with vendor management software.

• Understanding of ERP systems and electronics/mechanics manufacturing processes.

• Strong decision‑making abilities and negotiation skills.

• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.

• Fluent in English, and preferably Swedish, both written and spoken.
