About the AssignmentThis assignment is with a company in the automotive sector, where you will take a key role in digital procurement and strategic sourcing.
You will work in a global setup alongside buyers, a contract specialist, and a category manager, helping optimize the portfolio for software and hardware agreements.
Job Description- Lead global category strategies and turn them into actionable sourcing plans.
- Drive negotiations to secure cost savings, strong commercial terms, and improved supplier performance.
- Manage RFQs and ensure ongoing and new sourcing activities are completed effectively.
- Establish and maintain valid contracts for relevant software and hardware.
- Analyze spend, identify sourcing opportunities, and mitigate supply risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and procurement teams to align priorities and maximize synergies.
- Optimize the existing supplier and contract portfolio within the digital area.
Requirements- Experience in category management, procurement, and negotiation.
- Strong analytical capability, including spend analysis and opportunity assessments.
- BSc or higher in Business Administration, Economics, or a technical discipline.
- Full proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- 5+ years of strategic procurement experience, with at least 3 years in an IT Procurement role.
- IT experience.
- Strong business acumen and a global mindset.
- Fluency in English.
