We are looking for a Buyer within direct materials to strengthen a procurement team working with raw material and steel parts in the automotive industry. The assignment covers sourcing activities for stamped components that have a significant impact on the final product, in a complex supplier landscape. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization and engage market-leading suppliers, with a clear focus on business value, sustainability, and long-term supplier performance.

• Lead and support cross-functional sourcing projects and market tests from preparation through implementation and follow-up
• Perform market analysis, prioritize sourcing activities, and define negotiation strategies
• Drive negotiations, supplier evaluation, and supplier selection
• Manage contracts and support contract-related activities with a focus on sustainability
• Handle ongoing business related to current production for cold and hot stamped parts
• Challenge assumptions and ways of working constructively to help stakeholders align on the best solution

• University degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably within purchasing/procurement
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple issues and projects in parallel
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Professional business mindset with high integrity

• Experience working with cold and hot stamped parts
• Experience collaborating with market-leading suppliers in a complex sourcing area
