We are looking for a Senior SAP Functional Specialist to take a leading role in delivering complex SAP solutions in a retail environment. You will work across the full SAP lifecycle—from early analysis and design through build, testing, deployment, and support—together with cross-functional teams.

The role has a strong focus on SAP Retail master data and business processes, as well as integrations to surrounding systems such as POS and e-commerce platforms.

• Lead and contribute across all phases of the SAP project lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
• Configure SAP and drive enhancements and customizations based on business needs
• Define, develop, document, and maintain architectural blueprints
• Drive requirements from design and testing through to deployment approach
• Design, build, and implement complex SAP solutions
• Identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements, including facilitating workshops
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, business analysts, and project managers to ensure successful delivery
• Analyze complex business process requirements and propose suitable retail system solutions
• Enhance standard and custom interfaces, including API and IDoc integrations

• 8–10 years of SAP functional experience
• Strong SAP IS-Retail master data experience (e.g., Article, Hierarchy, Listing, Customer, Supplier, Site/Store & Warehouse, Price)
• Strong understanding of SAP Retail business processes
• Experience within merchandising, assortment, and listing management
• Knowledge and experience in master data solutions, including integrations
• Strong integration experience including SAP CPI, APIs, Kafka, Azure, and Event Mesh
• Strong integration experience with POS and e-commerce applications
• Extensive SAP Retail design and implementation experience with multiple full lifecycle implementations
• Ability to drive cross-functional changes from requirements through solution deployment
• Good documentation and presentation skills

• Experience in SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP CRM, SAP MDG, and/or SAP CAR
• Experience with Atlassian Jira, ServiceNow, and/or ActiveControl
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA in any module
• Exposure to design thinking best practices and solution architecture frameworks
• Basic debugging skills
