About the department and the team
At Husqvarna Residential R&D, we're not just developing cutting-edge robotic lawn mowers—we’re building the future of robotic mowers. Our Mechanics Development Team is at the forefront of this journey, designing and improving the mechanical parts that make our robotic mowers run smoothly. We work on both new development and product maintenance, ensuring our products stay ahead in the market.
We are a tight-knit team and work closely with mechanical architects and TPMs responsible for overarching strategies. This means you won’t be working in isolation—collaboration is key, and we value teamwork across all levels.
We work in a fast-paced and innovative environment, with access to a state-of-the-art material lab, verification lab, prototype workshop, and CAE department.
You will have the chance to collaborate with skilled colleagues, tackling technical challenges together. Here, every team member has a high degree of individual responsibility for their deliveries while still being an integral part of a larger whole.
We also place great emphasis on a strong team culture—we value openness, feedback, curiosity, and a prestige-free attitude. It’s not just about what you can do; it’s about how you contribute to the team dynamic.
