Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Lead the technical design and engineering of climate systems for HVDC converter stations, including reviewing designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Perform design calculations and develop system layouts, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure effective integration of climate systems within overall HVDC plant designs.
- Support all project phases—from tendering and conceptual design to detailed engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning—ensuring high-quality and timely execution.
- Conduct design reviews to verify compliance with customer requirements, ASHRAE standards, and internal engineering guidelines.
- Assist with testing, verification, and performance validation during commissioning, including site inspections and on-site support.
- Translate customer needs into reliable, compliant, and cost-effective climate system solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related discipline with strong knowledge of heat transfer and fluid mechanics.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with climate systems or HVAC in industrial or energy-related facilities.
- Proven expertise in climate system equipment such as chillers, dehumidifiers, air handling units, and integrated monitoring and control sensors.
- Strong understanding of psychrometric charts, heat transfer principles (active and passive), flow diagrams, and control systems.
- Experience working on large-scale engineering projects is advantageous.
Swedish language skills are preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
