• Ownership of FP&A and consolidation applications: Take full responsibility for developing, optimizing, and governing financial software to ensure it supports business objectives effectively 
• Integration and efficiency: Ensure seamless integration of finance applications within the IT landscape while streamlining processes for accurate and timely reporting
• Planning, consolidation & reporting excellence: Drive the design and maintenance of systems for financial planning, analysis, consolidation, and reporting to enable informed decision-making

Your role & influence as Application Specialist Finance

Responsibility: You will be given responsibility for developing and executing a long-term roadmap for financial systems, enhancing functionality, supporting users, and collaborating with Finance and IT to ensure efficient, accurate, and future-ready processes. Collaboration: Together with your team, you take care of enabling and optimizing financial systems, collaborating closely not only with your immediate team members but also with the Business Control and Group Financial Control. Core activities:

• Strategic roadmap: Develop and execute a long-term plan for the finance application portfolio, aligning it with business objectives and technology advancements
• Cross-functional bridge: Act as the link between Finance and IT, ensuring systems meet business needs while following technical best practices
• User support & enablement: Provide guidance and support to finance teams, helping them fully leverage system capabilities

We envision you as a curious and driven individual who thrives at the intersection of finance and technology, using your technical skills to optimize planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

Additionally, it's important that:

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, or a related field
• Technical finance background with IT skills, including Anaplan and SQL
• Experience with ERP, Financial Planning & Analysis, Consolidation tools, and strong analytical skills
• Ability to prioritize, make strategic decisions, and build collaborative relationships
