Job Description

As Head of IT at Consulting International Europe AB, you will lead our technology strategy and oversee the delivery of secure, scalable, and compliant IT systems supporting our international financial operations. This is a senior management position where you will shape the company’s digital infrastructure, support cross-border payment platforms, and ensure alignment with Swedish and EU information-security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy in line with business goals and regulatory requirements
• Lead the IT department, managing internal and external technical teams
• Oversee systems architecture, cybersecurity, and data-protection compliance (including GDPR)
• Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and technology projects from concept to deployment
• Ensure continuous improvement of IT processes and operational efficiency
• Support innovation across digital payments, cloud infrastructure, and financial technology systems
• Collaborate with management on risk management, business continuity, and digital transformation initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in IT management, systems administration, or financial-technology environments
• Proven experience in leading IT teams or managing complex technology projects
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and IT governance
• Familiarity with EU data-protection standards (GDPR) and financial-sector regulatory frameworks is an advantage
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Proficiency in English
