The Opportunity

Are you ready to play a central role in connecting suppliers and internal functions? We are now looking for a Strategic Buyer – Power & Industry Components to join our team in Ludvika. If you're driven, structured, and have a result-oriented mindset, this could be your next challenge.

As a Strategic Buyer, you’ll play a vital role in driving and coordinating strategic sourcing activities in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders such as design, sales, production, and operational purchasing. You’ll also support day-to-day operations to help minimize disruptions in our supply chain.

How you'll make an impact

• Maintain and develop the supplier base with a focus on quality, delivery, and total cost
• Conduct regular supplier evaluations in collaboration with local buyers and initiate improvement projects when needed
• Identify new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team
• Coordinate, collaborate, and support the business in various supply chain management topics
• Define and drive local sourcing strategies aligned with regional sourcing strategies, in collaboration with the regional SCM Manager
• Perform benchmark studies for the local factory team

Your Background

• You are a curious individual with the drive to challenge both yourself and the organization in pursuit of continuous improvement
• Strong communication and networking abilities, combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Relevant education and several years of experience in a similar role within the supply chain function
• A strong sense of ownership and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Proficient in MS tools – Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI, etc.
• As part of a company operating on a global stage, fluency in English is required
