Role Purpose:
Within the BST, this role is responsible for the HR matters belonging to the cluster. This role is responsible for the HR activities, working closely with the Manager Business Services to provide him/her all relevant insights and documents the Manager needs to support in collaboratively partnering with the Director Operations Cluster and Director Commercial Cluster in driving the cluster performance.
This role is responsible for the HR function within the cluster, including support of the management team of the cluster in recruitment and onboarding of new talent, managing engagement & development and time & attendance (incl. absence tracking).
In addition, this role will be responsible for managing the industrial and employee relations for the cluster. Besides employee and union relations, this role will also oversee talent sourcing, recruitment, and performance management for all staff in the Cluster.
Responsibilities:
- Support management by owning the full employment cycle for all sites within the cluster as well as performance & talent management.
- With a focus on driving management and business initiatives, Manage Union labour relations including negotiation of collective agreements, manage collective consultation processes for the country. Assist line managers across the country in case of labour disputes.
- Support and protect the management and organization by ensuring compliance of the organization’s practices with applicable labour legislation and collective labour agreements. Ensure country HR policies and procedures are compliant with Sibelco Group policies and procedures.
- Accountable for maintaining country policies and procedures on HR self-service portal up to date; including country employee handbook. Additionally, the HR Business partner will work with management to update and when required, create new policies that smoothly enable management initiatives.
- Maintain close cooperation with key staff in Payroll to maintain data accuracy and to deliver on local, regional and global objectives driven by Corporate HR; our main HR stakeholder.
- Promote and support employee engagement through global and local initiatives, promote and drive change management and be a main driver of developing the work culture within the cluster.
About you:
- Degree in Psychology, HR or Law, Master degree preferred, or equivalent by experience.
- Exceptional soft skills with the ability to communicate clearly and diplomatically on all levels in a cross cultural environment.
- Experience with both Swedish and Danish labour law. Experience with Norwegian labour law is a bonus.
- Prior experience as an HR generalist or HR manager, experience in union & employee relations in Sweden.
- English– proficient verbal & writing.
- Local language – Fluent Swedish, both verbal & in writing.
- Some experience in payroll and Workday are preferred.
