Role Overview: Executes and contributes to strategy within functional (HR, Compensation & Performance) and geographic areas (Sweden, Finland, Norway, and the Baltics) of responsibility, aligning with Group guidance, policies, and procedures.
Serves as a strategic advisor to the business, providing expertise on compensation, policies, processes, and best practices to enhance overall effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage compensation programs across assigned regions, ensuring alignment with the company’s philosophy and objectives while maintaining compliance with local legislation.
Regularly evaluate program effectiveness to attract and retain top talent.
- Implement total rewards processes and procedures within the functional scope, following corporate guidelines and policies.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders to address current challenges, providing innovative HR solutions tailored to business needs.
- Stay informed on Total Rewards market trends within the regions and recommend consistent, competitive solutions.
- Design and implement region-specific compensation initiatives in coordination with global Expert Services, sharing successful practices across geographies where relevant.
- Act as the primary contact for Group Expert Services, actively participating in design projects, pilots, and feedback loops to enhance future program designs.
- Lead and manage local compensation-related projects (e.g., Workday implementation) as assigned by the HR Leadership Team.
- Partner with Operational HR Services teams to optimize process support, ensuring service delivery meets pre-defined SLAs.
- Monitor compliance with legislation, HR policies, and standards, managing local policy exceptions within defined limits and escalating as necessary.
- Ensure financial adherence to agreed budgets and plans.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in HR or a related field with extensive experience in HR and compensation.
- Expertise in compensation programs and administration, with a strong grasp of broader HR strategies and solutions.
- Experience in global organizations is preferred, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and multi-country collaboration.
- Pragmatic, decisive, and solution-oriented, with proven financial acumen and strong problem-solving skills.
- Skilled at engaging with HR colleagues and senior executives, effectively collaborating and communicating to drive results.
- Independent and self-driven, with a service-oriented mindset and the ability to handle challenging projects and tight deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP, Workday).
- Fluent in English (business level).
