Join us to facilitate the green transition Electrification and the transition to fossil-free energy create fantastic opportunities for us as individuals, as a company, and for society at large. However, it also creates challenges, especially for our energy system. Ingrid Capacity is an energy tech company founded in 2022, and we are determined to solve some of the hardest challenges that stand in the way of the green transition by leveraging new technology and pioneering software development. We develop and optimize flexible energy assets such as large-scale battery energy storage to store electricity when there is a production surplus and return it to the system when there is a shortage. This ensures the stability of the grid, increases the uptake of renewable energy sources such as wind and solar, and maximizes the utilization of the grid in a cost-efficient manner.
Today, Ingrid Capacity is in a rapid growth phase with a historic expansion of energy storage in Sweden, while also expanding internationally. We are in the final phase of construction of around 200 MW and will soon enter a new phase of construction of another 200 MW, with a total development pipeline of over 6 GW across Europe. About the role We are looking for an experienced and hands-on professional to lead the development of our energy storage projects. In this role you will be a key player in ensuring the success of the projects, leading negotiations and execution of grid connection, stakeholder engagement, permitting, and land acquisition. The ability to adapt to changes and work efficiently while maintaining quality will be crucial for the role. You will join a dedicated team and be part of Ingrid Capacity’s continuous growth journey. In this role, you will work with a wide range of stakeholders, from landowners, grid owners, authorities, and utilities as well as internal stakeholders working with finance, engineering and planning to ensure smooth project delivery. The role offers variety and requires a hands-on approach, as you will be managing strategic planning as well as negotiating agreements and collaborations. You will take full ownership of projects, guiding them from concept to construction-ready status, proactively managing challenges along the way. This will include traveling to sites for assessments, stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that development milestones are met. You will report to the Head of Project Development.
