We are looking for a Senior IT Manager to lead the digitalization of our DMS (Drivetrain and Morse System) factories in Europe!

Your mission

As Senior IT Manager, your mission it to lead the digital transformation of BorgWarner’s DMS (Drivetrain and Morse System) manufacturing sites in Europe by implementing advanced Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance operational performance, streamline processes, and drive innovation.

You will report directly to the IT Vice President, André Rothfuss (located in Germany) and collaborate with Plant team colleagues at the plant´s in Europe.

This global role is a key contributor without personnel responsibility, based in Landskrona. Travel to other manufacturing sites will be a part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Industry 4.0 digitalization strategy in alignment with BorgWarner’s IT leadership.

• Partner with plant leadership and expert teams to align digital initiatives.

Project Management:

• Lead and oversee digitalization projects from concept through execution, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meet defined business outcomes.

• Manage project budgets effectively.

Technology Implementation:

• Oversee the deployment of Industry 4.0 cloud platforms and digital tools aligned with Enterprise I4 strategies.

• Ensure seamless integration of new technologies with existing systems and provide technical guidance to IT and OT teams.

Global Responsibility:

• Drive digitalization initiatives across multiple global plant locations, standardizing processes and technologies to enhance efficiency.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with plant leadership, IT teams, and stakeholders to champion digital transformation.

• Facilitate training and support to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Who are you?

You are a communicative project manager with exceptional interpersonal skills. You have the ability to manage global initiatives and promote consistency across locations.

This role requires:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (master’s degree preferred).

• Minimum of 10 years of IT leadership and project management experience, with a focus on digital transformation and Industry 4.0 technologies.

• Proven success in leading digital transformation in manufacturing or automotive environments.

• Strong expertise in Industry 4.0 cloud platforms and real-time data visualization tools.

• English and preferably Swedish - excellent skills both written and oral
