About the role

As a Business Controller, you will work closely with management teams, helping to guide decisions that drive operational success. This position goes beyond traditional finance, focusing on creating compelling narratives that influence strategic planning. Key responsibilities

- Conduct in-depth analysis of monthly results, providing actionable insights to support decision-making

- Manage timely and precise monthly financial closings, upholding high-quality standards

- Lead strategic direction through forecasting, supporting management in proactive decision-making

- Partner with management teams, translating financial data into clear, actionable insights

- Drive the implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to enhance reporting and analysis

- Address complex, ad hoc analyses with agility, delivering insights that support strategic initiatives

Who you are

- Skilled at translating key financial indicators into decisions that enhance business performance

- Effectively convey data-driven insights to various stakeholders

- Build strong relationships across teams to achieve shared goals

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, SAP, and BI tools such as Power BI and QlikSense

- Confident in making decisions and driving initiatives independently

- Use a structured approach to prioritize tasks and meet objectives

- Approach challenges with optimism, curiosity, and adaptability

- Dedicated to driving continuous operational improvements

Qualifications

- Bachelor in Business Administration or a related field

- Two to five years of experience in business or financial controlling, ideally in a production environment

- Familiarity with AB Volvo financial systems (eg. SAP, Power BI, QlikSense)

- Proficient in English, both written and spoken
