Just now we are ramping up the production of batteries and cables making it an electrifying time to join us! We are now looking for a Group manager for Industrial Engineering that we hope can contribute to our diversity.

Role Summary

We are looking for a new leader to join our engineering team in the battery production. If you want to be part of part of a high performing, dedicated, and resilient team and having fun whilst working towards a more sustainable future, then we are looking forward your application!

We want to find a person who can contribute to a good cooperation and high spirit within our organization, You will have the possibility to affect the development of Scania’s batteries to ensure a safe and sustainable production and usage of our products.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders and communicate with colleagues on all levels.

What we offer

We offer a leadership and technically inspiring assignment as a Group Manager for Industrial engineering team in a very dynamic and forward-thinking environment. You will be a part of the Engineering team with 12 team members working with you. You will lead a team that cares about teamwork and work closely together supporting each other. We are strongly interconnected in our processes and we need to have a common picture of where we are and where we are going.

Our battery production team at Scania is a new unit but we have already built a strong team. We help each other and continuously improve our cross-functional working methods to secure our processes. Our team today consists of 12 people, with women and men. We have 5 different nationalities and 5 different home languages.

My name is Frédéric Saba and I have had different management positions at Scania internationally for the last 16 years. I get motivated by developing teams and finding the talent of each person, to be able to coach people in their continuous learning.
