The role The Graphic Designer is a key member of the Verisure Global Design Team, reporting to the UI Design Manager and Global Design Director.  The role will be based in one our Technology centers in either Malmö or Madrid with some occasional European travel required.   This role is seen as fundamental to delivering world class visual and graphic design solutions across a wide range of touchpoints within the Verisure Products & Services portfolio. The role will be instrumental in evolving the look and feel of numerous customer touchpoints, as technology, user behaviors and visual design trends evolve and change.   The role will be responsible for the creation, development, refinement and documentation of Graphic Design solutions that are in line with the design objectives and goals of Verisure working on both tactical projects as well as more strategic and explorative workstreams. Main Responsibilities Main responsibilities will include supporting the business in all aspects of Graphic Design.  Key tasks include but are not limited to:  * Packaging Design - collaborate with our Industrial Design and partner teams (marketing, procurement, logistics, etc.) in the creation of new packaging design. Supporting the process from initial exploration and creation of concepts through to production and commercialisation. This will include creating the necessary materials and artefacts for production, liaising with suppliers and providing specifications for production to commence. * Packaging Design Systems * Product Graphics - support our industrial design team in the creation of product graphics and labels * In-Box Literature – support in the creation and delivery of an in-box literature system and approach. Creating concepts and proposals to be realised and delivered with the release of future products. * Technical Illustrations/Drawings – support in the commercialisation of new products through providing technical illustrations of our products for use in a variety of different media and touchpoints. * In-App Digital Illustration – support the UI Team and Visual Designers as needed in the creation of in-app digital illustrations * Print Media – support the global design team in the creation and delivery of templates for posters, presentation materials and other print media as needed. Work with your colleagues within the global design team to realise the production of such assets as necessary. * Brand & Marketing Support – collaborate as needed with the Global Design Director and Global Marketing Team to support brand related initiatives and developments including but not limited to print media assets, digital marketing collateral, digital website concepts, logo development, iconography, typography and brand guideline creation. * Graphic Design Practice - advocate new tools, methodologies and better practices to drive learning and development of visual design within the Group Design Function Required Qualifications: Minimum qualifications * University degree in Graphic Design or a Design Related subject, preferably BA or BSc degree * 4+ years of experience working as a Graphic Designer within a Corporate Design Group or reputable Design Consultancy * Documented experience of design solutions that have been released to the market * International experience is important but not essential * Experience working with senior stakeholders, clients, functional leaders, suppliers and within other multi-functional teams * Experience of packaging design essential * Proven track record of utilising research insights to inform design decisions and directions. * Fluent in English, both written and spoken is essential * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud for both design exploration and production asset creation Personal Characteristics * Committed to delivering world class user experiences and graphic design excellence * You are an analytical problem solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. * You have a proven ability to create collaborative relationships with stakeholders and peers in a matrix organization and be recognized as a value-added partner, working in multicultural teams. * A match to our culture, the successful candidate will have high energy, flexibility, fantastic communication skills (both written and verbal) and huge amounts of drive. * Familiar with current home security / smart home technologies, future developments and understand the partnerships and use cases behind them * Proactive, driven and willing to listen, observe and understand real user needs * Strong knowledge of design thinking practices and methodologies Applications must include: An up-to-date CV and concise portfolio in an easy to access format The Company Verisure is the leading European provider of professionally monitored security systems with 24/7 response services.
