The position Toyota Material Handling Design Center in Mjölby are now looking for a creative industrial designer that wants to join us in creating Toyota Material Handling Europe's future products. As a designer at TMHE, you are involved in the whole design process. You are going to have an extensive cooperation with R&D, product management and marketing departments as well as our factories. The work offers a broad range of responsibilities. Your most important tasks will be: * To create, implement and secure product design into TMHE's product ranges as well as creating concepts of the future. * Creation of sketches and 3D for feasible concepts and detailed design definitions. * Responsible for design issues in development projects and supporting TMHE's DR process (Design Review). * Considering the function, aesthetics, production costs, and usability of products and ensure alignment with branded strategies. Desired Skills and Experience * We expect you to have at least 1-2 years' working experience as a designer. * Experience of design within automotive, industrial vehicle industry is an advantage, also if you have been working with interior design and man-machine-interaction. * You have a master's degree (or bachelor's degree) as an industrial designer, product designer or transportation designer. * You can CAD/3D as Alias, Blender or similar software are proficient in Adobe suite, sketches on paper as well as digital. * As a person you are open minded, creative and driven and have a passion for form and colour. * You must be able to work in a high tempo without sacrificing structure and accuracy.
