Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Come and join the R&D Collaboration team at YMCX – Collaboration Strategy and Issue Management within TRATON group.

Our mission is to provide the whole Traton group with an Issue Management System Globally & support our organization's Collaboration with Strategies in both way of working, but also in high-level activities, we need to fit into our development chain.

To enable this we work together with the corresponding organizations within TRATON such as MAN, Navistar, and MAN Latin America as VWTO.

As the challenges are getting bigger and bigger we are now looking for a new Product Owner colleague to extend the team.

The considered Product area is Issue Management. Today the system consists of more than 10 different modules that support approximately 30 different processes at Scania. Only within Scania we have 20 000 users.

Your two biggest challenges at the moment would be to support in the build-up of our systems, so that our sibling brands within Traton also can use them and secure that the system is fit for Collaboration. The second challenge is that in parallell find a solution were we can provide our service to our Scania colleagues in China as well.

Your main responsibilities:

• Prioritize and decide upon the development of work packages

• Managing and prioritizing the product backlog

• Translating product managers' strategies to tasks for development

• Work iteratively with the Release Train Engineer, Product Manager, Scrum Master and development team to ensure the fulfillment of the requirements

• Serving as a liaison between product and development with close collaboration with the Product Manager

Your profile:

• Most likely you have worked within the OEM business before

• Knowledge of Product Development &/or IT infrastructure is a plus.

• Knowledge or previous experience working in Agile methodology is a plus

• Knowledge of processes were product deviations have been handled is also a plus.

• Fluent English is required since you will work in a global and multicultural team.

• If you speak German it is also a plus.
