Every day, customers all over the world rely on their products for safe, reliable, and efficient operations.About the positionIn the role as Product Owner, your primary responsibility is to deliver and maintain the Group Functions applications in line with Atlas Copco’s business needs while safeguarding system and data integrity for all their supported customers. You will have end-to-end responsibility for the Group Functions application portfolio, ensuring that products and services support business objectives and deliver value across the organization. Acting as the link between senior business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners, you will drive the product lifecycle from strategy, product vision and roadmap, development to delivery, operations, and continuous improvement. In close collaboration with stakeholders, you will identify and prioritize requirements, lead product initiatives, and ensure successful delivery of solutions. You will also oversee product financials, service models, performance metrics, and communication activities to support adoption and long-term success. The role includes leading the design, development, and implementation of applications supporting Group Functions. You will coordinate resources, define technical direction, manage testing and product launches, and ensure a smooth transition into production. In addition, you will establish operational readiness through appropriate governance, documentation, and service management processes. From an operational perspective, you will be responsible for the ongoing performance, stability, and continuous improvement of the application portfolio. This includes managing support processes, supplier relationships, service quality, change and release management, and driving product adoption through training and stakeholder engagement. You will monitor key performance indicators, enhance user experience, ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations, and maintain financial oversight of the product portfolio. Your team consists of Senior Software Engineers in multiple time zones. You report directly to the Global Project Portfolio Director. Your main responsibilities:

• End-to-end responsibility for the Group Functions application portfolio.
• Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and governance framework, aligning priorities with business needs and strategic goals
• Lead the design, development, acquisition, and implementation of applications supporting Group Functions.
• Coordinate resources, define technical direction, manage testing and product launches.

Global stakeholder management and close collaboration with suppliers, external partners and consultants.

About youTo be successful in this position we believe that you have an educational background within IT, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or similar. You have several years of experience working as a Product Owner/Product Manager with IT applications, preferably within the financial domain in a global context. You have a solid technical understanding, if you previous has worked as a Software Engineer (.NET) this is considered meritorious. As a person you are structured, analytical, communicative and possess senior stakeholder management abilities. You are fluent in English both written and spoken. Important for the position:

• Educational background within IT, Finance, BA, Engineering or similar.
• Several years of experience working as a Product Owner/Product Manager.
• Solid technical understanding of IT applications.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken.
• Software Engineering skills (.NET) is considered meritorious.

Practical detailsIn this recruitment you will be hired by Needo as a consultant for initially 6 months. Permanent hire by Atlas Copco is the long-time goal. Start: As agreed upon.
