🚀 We’re Hiring: IT Support Specialist – Manufacturing IT | Gothenburg, Sweden

Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is looking for a service-oriented IT Support Specialist for a consulting assignment with a leading organization in the automotive and manufacturing industry in Gothenburg.

🔧 About the Role

You will provide on-site IT support in an industrial manufacturing environment. The role involves troubleshooting, workplace device management, basic network support, and collaboration with central IT teams to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth production operations.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support and resolve incidents affecting production and workplace IT.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, industrial PCs, and peripheral devices.
• Support Windows-based systems, user accounts, access permissions, and Microsoft 365.
• Troubleshoot basic network and connectivity issues.
• Manage incidents and service requests using an IT ticketing system.
• Collaborate with end users, central IT teams, and external vendors.
• Document solutions and contribute to continuous improvements in IT support processes.

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in IT support, desktop support, or IT operations.
• Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP and Wi-Fi.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Good English communication skills; Swedish is an advantage.

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience providing IT support in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with industrial PCs, barcode scanners, RFID readers, or printers.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT ticketing systems.
