🔧 About the Role

As a Digital Product Owner, you will help translate the digital product roadmap into actionable deliverables for a stable, cross-functional team. You will be responsible for managing and prioritising the team backlog, ensuring that requirements are clear and transparent, and keeping delivery aligned with the product vision and overall strategy.

The role also includes supporting product lifecycle management, ensuring compliance with architecture and security requirements, monitoring service-level agreements (SLAs), and coordinating the capabilities needed for successful delivery.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Translate the digital product roadmap into prioritised backlog items and deliverables.
• Manage, organise, and prioritise the team backlog, ensuring it is visible, transparent, and clearly understood.
• Align backlog priorities with the digital product vision, business strategy, and roadmap.
• Ensure digital products and solutions comply with architecture and security requirements throughout their lifecycle.
• Support product development, maintenance, and eventual decommissioning.
• Establish and monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) for solutions managed by the team.
• Coordinate support activities for digital products and services within the team's scope.
• Help secure the right capacity and competencies to meet delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to clarify requirements, manage dependencies, and achieve shared outcomes.
• Independently manage complex tasks and make informed decisions when requirements or priorities are uncertain.

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• Approximately 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in digital product ownership, product management, backlog management, or a similar role.
• Understanding of digital product roadmaps and how to translate strategy into actionable team deliverables.
• Experience prioritising and maintaining product or team backlogs.
• Ability to define clear requirements and ensure that backlog items are understood by the delivery team.
• Understanding of product architecture, security requirements, and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with service management, support processes, and SLAs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage complexity, and collaborate effectively across a team.
• A structured, proactive approach to planning, prioritisation, and delivery.

⭐ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of the Global Diagnostic Platform (GDSP) or similar diagnostic platforms used in automotive aftermarket technology.
• Experience working with automotive aftermarket systems, digital services, or enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with system integrations, technical dependencies, and digital product architecture.
• Experience coordinating support, maintenance, and ongoing development of digital products.
• Experience working in stable, cross-functional product teams.
