Role Summary

Scania Occupational Health Services Sweden is looking for an experienced licensed psychologist who would like to provide qualified support to Scania’s operations in Södertälje. In this role, you will work with issues relating to individuals’ health and circumstances, group interaction and development, and organizational ways of working and change. You will support employees, managers, HR and management teams, adapting your interventions to their needs—from clinical support for individuals to consultative work with groups and organizations. You will contribute psychological expertise and a holistic perspective to issues relating to work-related ill health, rehabilitation, collaboration, conflict and change. The aim is to promote health and create sustainable conditions for both people and the business. You will be part of a cross-professional team in a global and dynamic organization. Your experience and ability to translate knowledge into practical support will be important to our work to promote health, safety and sustainable productivity.

Job Responsibilities

You will be part of a cross-functional team that includes occupational health physicians, occupational health nurses and other psychologists. In your customer team, you will also work with ergonomists and work environment engineers. You will work in a consultative capacity, supporting individuals, groups, managers, HR and management teams.

The work includes both preventive and remedial interventions at individual, group and organizational levels. You will move between these levels according to the needs of each assignment and consider how individuals’ situations, group interactions and organizational conditions affect one another.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Conduct clinical assessments and provide time-limited psychological treatment for individuals, both individually and in groups, as well as support in cases of work-related ill health and rehabilitation.
  • Support individuals and groups with issues relating to health, work capacity, collaboration and return to work.
  • Support groups with group development, collaboration and conflict issues, for example through facilitation and consultative support.
  • Support managers, HR and management teams with issues relating to employee health, group interactions and organizational conditions.
  • Contribute psychological expertise to organizational changes and change management, focusing on how changes affect individuals, groups, leadership and the work environment.
  • Analyze organizational conditions and provide recommendations for sustainable ways of working and a good organizational and social work environment.
  • Develop and deliver training in areas such as mental health, change, work environment and leadership.

The position is based at Occupational Health Services in Södertälje. When the customer assignment allows, the work can be carried out remotely.

Who You Are

  • Licensed Psychologist with experience providing psychological support to individuals and groups.
  • Strong consultative background, partnering with managers, teams, and organizations to address workplace challenges and promote wellbeing.
  • Experience supporting organizational change, including reorganizations, new ways of working, and business transformations.
  • Knowledge of group dynamics, organizational psychology, and evidence-based interventions that support healthy and effective workplaces.
  • Experience working with work-related ill health, rehabilitation processes, and employee support.
  • Skilled in supporting managers and teams through collaboration, communication, and conflict-resolution challenges.
  • Able to build trust, provide constructive challenge, and translate psychological expertise into practical recommendations and actions.
  • Structured, empathetic, and adaptable, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken; experience within Occupational Health Services is considered an advantage.
