Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Java/React)
Domain knowledge in the area of Digital Automotive Car Service
Joining the Commercial Ownership Cluster within our Commercial Digital area, you'll work across the entire end-to-end service flow: how service content is created, how we deliver our Service Information Platform at scale, how technicians use it in workshops every day, and ultimately how a tier one automotive conglomerate's customers experience the servicing of their car.
Your work will have a direct and visible impact. The services you build help automotive technicians find the right information faster, improve performance quality and speed, which keeps cars safe, extends their lifetime, and gets customers back on the road sooner. In short, your contribution will directly shape both technician and customer satisfaction.
You'll collaborate with multiple product teams and clusters to build a robust, scalable digital platform at an exciting point in our journey. If you're an experienced engineer who enjoys solving real problems for real users, we'd love to hear from you.
What Youʼll Do
You'll build and evolve the services and user interfaces behind the service information products for which we are responsible. On the backend, that means designing services with Java and Spring Boot, exposing them through REST APIs and GraphQL Federation, and using Kafka for event streaming. On the frontend, you'll help shape the React based micro frontends that technicians and content creators rely on.
You'll own what you build all the way to production. You'll deploy to Kubernetes with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, and use Grafana to monitor, trace, and continuously improve how our services behave.
We're changing how we build software, and you'll help lead that shift. We're moving towards spec-driven development, where clear specifications come first, and AI agents help turn them into code, tests, and documentation. You'll explore new AI tools and agentic workflows, share what works with your team, and help define the practices we adopt as AI keeps evolving.
You'll stay close to the people who use what we build. You'll work directly with stakeholders such as product managers, content creators, and workshop teams, and gain first-hand insight by meeting technicians and seeing how they work. What you learn will guide what we build and how we prioritize.
Not every problem comes with a clear answer. You'll be comfortable working with uncertainty, delivering in small steps, learning from feedback, and adapting quickly when priorities or insights change.
